Triangle UFO sightings on rise- one stops traffic
There has been an uptick of reported sightings of Triangle UFOs in recent days, with one sighting reportedly stopping traffic in New Hampshire.
UFO hovers over field
A witness in Circleville, Ohio, was driving home from work at 7:10PM on February 3, 2014, when they spotted what initially appeared to be a red light on top of a tower.
As they drove southbound on Route 23, the light began to appear as an aircraft or hovering helicopter with a spotlight over a field. Upon a closer look, the object began to appear as a complete unknown to the witness.
Three lights became visible, each at the end of what was described as "clearly a triangle shaped something," by the witness.
The unmanned witness told MUFON (Mutual UFO Network), that the object was "definitely a triangular shaped hovercraft-y aircraft of some sorts. The lights lit up one by one, and then pulsated, more like, peaks and then troughs. Once all the lights were lit, it glowed a bit stronger."
The witness, still driving, called a friend to relate their experience. Then, as the witness was driving, talking on the phone and craning their neck to get a look at the UFO, they lost sight of it. The witness turned their car around for a better look, but the object had vanished.
The witness drove around the area looking for the craft but did not see it again. They went home, drew sketches of what they saw and filed their report.
Triangle UFO stops traffic
Three days later, on February 6, a triangle shaped UFO stopped traffic in Betlehem, New Hampshire, according to another witness report submitted to MUFON.
The witness, or witnesses, none of whom were identified, saw "odd white lights hovering in the sky at a low altitude-- maybe 500- 1000 feet."
The reporting witness was driving home from work at 5:32 PM, when they got a close look at the strange lights at dusk.
"You could see three distinct white lights forming a triangle shape, with a faint triangular outline that blended in with the sky."
Other drivers reportedly pulled over and "slammed on the their brakes" to get a look at the UFO.
The witness reported that the object hovered for about a minute before "it shot up vertically into the air at an incredible speed, ascending maybe 30,000 feet in half a second. Then made an abrupt right angle northerly, and disappeared."
A Triangle UFO was also reported in Connecticut in early January.
Original (unedited) witness reports:
Circleville, OH- I was driving home from work on 23 south just after South Bloomfield. I was looking out the window at passing cars, just checking things out. I noticed what I thought was the top of a tower light in an odd location. As my car approached, my thought process went from tower light, to airplane, to "No it's stationary, maybe a helicopter with a search light?".
Once the three lights at each peak of the triangle was visible, it was clearly a triangle shaped something. So I try to slow down to around 45, and yes, it Is definitely a triangular shaped hovercraft-y aircraft of some sorts. The lights lit up one by one, and then pulsated, more like, peaks and then troughs. Once all the lights were lit, it glowed a bit stronger. I was watching it - slash whipping my head back to the road - in quick intrivals for quite some time.
So, naturally I get really excited, so I call someone to share the news, as I'm looking at it. I talk to him until its out over my 'trying to drive while rubbernecking' perspective, and turn shortly after that to the Court Street entrance near Sevan's. I do a u-turn and look for it, but its gone.
I drove up to Haggerty road and looked through the field and saw nothing. Afterwards, I continued home on the phone describing it, came home and drew a few sketches. I proceed to do what anyone with internet does - I googled ufo sightings and posted it here!
Bethlehem, NH- While driving home around dusk we observed odd white lights hovering in the sky at a low altitude maybe 500- 1000 feet. Several other drivers noticed and pulled over/slammed on their breaks, we continued driving however to try to get to a better spot. Upon getting closer to the object, you could see three distinct white lights forming a triangle shape, with a faint triangular outline that blended in with the sky but you could tell there was something there. The object hovered in place for maybe a minute, and then it shot up vertically into the air at an incredible speed, ascending maybe 30,000 feet in half a second. Then made an abrupt right angle northerly, and disappeared.
