More sighting reports of low flying, triangle shaped UFOs are flooding in from Texas to Kansas this week.

A father and son were watching the Orionid meteor shower on October 20, 2012 when they noticed "a dark object, with no lights" fly overhead in Perryton, TX, near the Oklahoma panhandle.

The unnamed witnesses told the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) the object was completely dark and did not reflect ground lights.  It looked triangle shaped.

It appeared to be flying at a low altitude and was completely silent.  The witnesses thought it was flying faster than a conventional aircraft, and "seemed to obscure the night sky and the stars as it passed overhead from south to northwest."

The same father and son submitted another sighting report of a similar object that they observed on August 11, 2012. The 14 year old son first saw the first object only by how it blocked out the stars as it moved.

Original (unedited) witness report:

While watching the meteor shower in Perryton, TX, a dark object, with no lights, traveled overhead from NW to S, then changed direction and returned north before disappearing. There were no lights, no reflected lights from the ground. The only way that my son and I saw it was that it blocked out the stars as it moved overhead. There was a faint outline of a black object against a deep blue of the sky and the stars. The object appeared to be at a low altitude, but it would have been hard to determine for sure. It was completely silent, no noise at all. The object seemed to travel quicker than a normal airplane or helicopter.

It was like a shadow, with an absence of stars and sky. My son, 14, saw it, and followed it across the sky, and pointed it out to me.
