Lighted UFO circles university campus in Louisiana
A “bright, orange-pink light” was spotted by multiple witnesses circling over the campus of Southeastern Louisiana University on the evening of April 7, 2013.
Three unnamed witnesses reported to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) that they were walking east across campus at 8:00 PM when they noticed a “golf ball” size light flying to the west under a cloud bank and above the tree line.
The object suddenly changed course and appeared to descend just north of the witnesses. The UFO was moving slowly enough for the three to discuss what they were seeing.
About 30 seconds into the sighting the bright “glowing” light went out and they could see a solid craft for a few seconds before it “disappeared.”
About an hour after their sighting, the three witnesses learned that two other people had seen the object from across campus at the same time. The couple described the light as a “glowing salmon (colored) object” that they observed from a better vantage point than the other three observers.
The couple told them that they saw the object circle the campus and surrounding area with its “light off” before the salmon colored light illuminated, which was when the original three witnesses first noticed it.
The object then circled the area three times before vanishing, according to the two other witnesses.
All five witnesses discussed it and were unable to identify what they saw. They filed their report with the hope that an explanation may be forthcoming.
